This new forum is being promoted as the means by which individual heritage organisations throughout Europe can create a link with the new European Heritage Hub (launched last year) and get on to the Hub “radar” for two way communication with the Hub (in particular for mailings about events, initiatives and other activities).

The European Heritage Hub (www.europeanheritagehub.eu) is formed of a consortium of 20 partners, but is dedicated to benefiting the broader heritage ecosystem across Europe. To this end, the Hub will soon launch a Community of Practice inviting stakeholders actively engaged in or contributing to Europe’s heritage field to join.
The Community of Practice will serve as an invaluable space for networking and knowledge sharing. Members will convene various events and webinars throughout the year and gain access to an interactive online platform to be launched in February 2024.
Participation in consultations, surveys, sharing best practices, contributing to research, policy papers and advocacy campaigns will be among opportunities extended to Community of Practice members.
The European Heritage hub aims to build the resilience of the heritage sector and its capacity for action and advocacy in the face of the Triple Transformation of our society (green, digital, social). It is anticipated that the Community of Practice will feature content targeted at each of these transformation strands.
