The meeting was quorate, meaning we had enough members present to conduct our business and carry out elections. Although we say a sad goodbye to those who stood down this year, we also welcome some new and returning faces!
In particular, we thank Kate Pugh, who stands down from the role of Hon Secretary as she leaves the board this year. Kate worked hard to put our house in order; strengthening our governance practices and record keeping, and supporting our Chair so that she could focus on key strategic matters. Rebecca Shelley, one of our existing trustees, steps in as Hon Secretary.
During the meeting, we enjoyed a pre-recorded message from Europa Nostra Board member Graham Bell. In his presentation Graham summarized the year’s news and actions, as well as Europa Nostra’s future plans.
