Over the last ten years MINARE (Fitzwilliam Museum, University of Cambridge) has revolutionised our understanding of manuscript heritage. The project received a European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Award in 2023, in the Research category.
If you know of important heritage in Europe that is endangered, nominate it for the 7 Most Endangered programme 2025! Both tangible and intangible heritage are eligible for the programme, regardless of whether it is publicly or privately owned.
We regret to pass on news of the sudden and unexpected death of John Sell CBE, architect and heritage champion. John was a genuine European who instilled his passion for the breadth of European cultural heritage in everyone he met and will be deeply missed.
